Ep44 - Rosa Delgado and Rosita Camacho — misconduct. A True Crime Podcast

This week we will be discussing the disappearance of 21-year-old Rosa Delgado and her 4 year old daughter Rosita Camacho from Hartford, Connecticut in late October 1997. A month later, hunters would discover a woman’s body floating in a late in New Jersey that was missing her head and hands.

Although homicide was the obvious cause of death, authorities were unable to identify the woman for almost two years. In 1999, DNA tests proved that the ‘lady in the lake’, as she had been dubbed by local news outlets, was actually Rosa Delgado.

Although Rosa’s family was finally able to bring her home, they were left with more questions than answers. Who did this to Rosa? Why? And, most importantly, where was Rosita.

This week we will be discussing the circumstances surrounding Rosa and Rosita’s disappearance, the prime suspect, and what could have happened to Rosita.
